On Saturday, November 2 from 4:00-7:00pm there will be a Day of the Dead Party here at Unity of Traverse City. Day of the Dead, or Dia De Los Muertos, is a joyful holiday that is celebrated mostly in Mexico to remember the deceased and celebrate their memory. Participants will have the opportunity to create altars that honor family, friends, heroes, and pets. There will be food, music, storytelling, FUN. More details will be shared, especially about how to build an altar, in the coming Sundays leading up to the celebration. In the meantime, mark your calendars for Saturday, November 2.
